Where to Stay in Istanbul: Choose a Base Around Your Trip
Compare historic-centre, Beyoğlu, Asian-side and western Istanbul bases by your itinerary, transport needs and accommodation priorities.
The most useful way to choose where to stay in Istanbul is to mark the places you need to reach repeatedly. A larger apartment can be a good choice for a western Istanbul visit and a poor choice for a short trip spent mostly around Sultanahmet. Compare the whole journey, not just the room.

Run a three-journey check before comparing prices
- Plan airport to accommodation, including the final stop-to-door connection.
- Plan accommodation to your most important daytime destination at the hour you expect to travel.
- Plan the evening return, including how you would return if your preferred connection were unavailable.
Record transfers, walking, luggage handling and your fallback option. A map's driving estimate alone misses station access and waiting. If two adults and children must make a demanding trip every day, include that practical cost alongside the accommodation total.
Where our Istanbul collection fits
Priceino Holiday's current accommodation collection is at Kiristalşehir in the Gökevler area of Esenyurt. It is relevant when western Istanbul is the purpose of the visit. We do not offer accommodation in every district described here or claim that Kiristalşehir is a central sightseeing base.
For an exhibition visit, check the particular TÜYAP event and entrance before deciding. For a trip focused on historic sights, compare a genuinely central alternative even if you prefer our apartment photographs. For mixed plans, choose which journeys matter most rather than assuming one base solves everything.
Then compare the actual accommodation
Check the unit's sleeping arrangement, maximum guest count, arrival arrangements and cancellation terms. An area recommendation cannot tell you whether a particular apartment works for your group. See our Istanbul collection only after the location passes your journey check.
